Design of the AVRIL boutique at Lille Europe station: an inspiring organic cosmetics space for travellers

For its twenty-fourth location in France, the Guillaume Da Silva Architectures Intérieurs agency has once again been chosen by AVRIL to design the brand's boutique in the Lille Europe train station, recently renovated to accommodate new retail space. This collaboration follows in the footsteps of previous boutiques in the Hauts-de-France region, all designed by Guillaume Da Silva, with a clear objective: to create a space that is both distinctive and faithful to AVRIL's values.

Natural, immersive architecture in a high-traffic area

For this station store, Guillaume Da Silva designed an environment that celebrates natural materials and adopts a pared-down scenography. Integrated into the station's emblematic concrete structure, the store surprises visitors with its spectacular interior architecture. Above the make-up area, a vault of light-colored wood strips, evoking plant "geological strata", splits into a mirror to offer a unique perspective effect and leave a lasting impression on travelers. The beige granito floor reinforces the store's contemporary, uncluttered aesthetic, in keeping with AVRIL's DNA.

A craftsman's approach

For each new opening, AVRIL has chosen to work with a different designer to give each store its own identity. This project came to life thanks to the expertise of several renowned craftsmen and companies:
