Guillaume Da Silva Architectures Intérieurs was responsible for the renovation and project management of the Orange company restaurant, located under a 1980s glass roof in Villeneuve-d'Ascq. The key words in this project were light and modernity, transforming the premises into a luminous, functional and aesthetically pleasing space.
A completely refurbished company restaurant
To improve the restaurant's acoustic quality, the agency opted for vertical openwork cladding on the walls, creating an effect that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional. The dining area is laid out centrally, with a counter and service table to facilitate flow.
The layout and ergonomics of the kitchen mean that over 150 meals and 200 coffees can be served in less than an hour, satisfying employees' need for a quick meal.
A Zen break, relaxation, well-being at work
The design and architectural concept was to create a place of rejuvenation, where lunch breaks are a special moment. Suspended white spherical lamps and a pebble-like floor covering, together with light wood fixtures and flooring, create a Zen atmosphere conducive to relaxation.
A plus in today's world, where well-being in the workplace is a major concern in the design of workspaces and catering facilities, and a necessity in terms of attractiveness for employers.
