Guillaume Da Silva Architectures Intérieurs created the overall concept and design for the headquarters and offices of a numismatic appraisal and sales company.
Demanding specifications
This renovation project takes place in the heart of Lille's old town, in a private mansion. As soon as they enter, visitors are impressed by the architectural quality of the hall and the perspectives offered by the generosity of the volumes. The verticality of the stairwell is accompanied by a backlit clerestory, creating a dialogue between the architect's contemporary intervention and the building's historic character.
A monolithic sculpture on the first-floor landing serves as a secretariat and reception desk.
A backlit visual featuring the client's graphic charter serves as a backdrop to this reception area, hiding the archives and reprographics. A clever design that keeps reception functions close at hand while concealing them.
Around this monumental staircase, the backbone of the project, the various facilities and functions of this head office are articulated: meeting rooms, offices, cafeteria, management office, relaxation area, open space, roof-top terrace.
Stimulating decoration
Employees and experts are housed in an open space where the historic character of the decor has been preserved, while adding a touch of modernity with the fittings, technical lighting and furniture.
